Annie M. Small

Following an illness of about ten days from pneumonia, Miss Annie M. Small, died 
at her late home No. 522 North Street, McSherrystown, at 9 o’clock Tuesday 
evening.  She was aged 55 years, 4 months and 25 days.

The deceased was a daughter of the late James and Louise Small and was born near 
Bonneauville, Adams county.  After the death of her father, twenty-one years 
ago, she moved with her mother and family to McSherrystown where the remainder 
of her life was spent.  Miss Small was a member of the Cigarmakers Union No. 
316.

She leaves two sisters, Miss Catharine Small, at home, and Mrs. Pius H. Slagle, 
of North Street; also a brother, Samuel Small, of Main St., McSherrystown.  
Fourteen nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral, Friday, April 7th, requiem high mass in St. Mary’s church at 9 a.m., 
Rev. L. Aug. Reudter, officiating.  Interment in St. Mary’s cemetery.
