Spangler Dies on Saturday Mrs. Mary Louise Spangler, 89, formerly of Fairfield, but for a number of years a resident of Littlestown, died at the home of her son, J. Howard Spangler, East King street, Littlestown, at 6:45 o'clock Saturday night of the infirmities of old age. She was the widow of John Spangler, of Fairfield, who died about 15 years ago. The deceased was a daughter of the late David and Susan Mehring, of Carroll county, Maryland. She is survived by five sons, Charles A. Spangler and J. Arthur Spangler, of Fairfield; J. Howard Spangler, of Littlestown; Milton A. Spangler, of Hagerstown, and Dr. N. R. Spangler, of Fresno, California. Fourteen grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Crouse, of Littlestown, also survive. She was a member of Redeemer's Reformed church, of Littlestown. Funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her son in Littlestown, the Rev. A. M. Wright officiating with burial in Mt. Carmel cemetery. Star and Sentinel, December 14, 1929
