Starner Mrs. Emma Starner, wife of Harry S. Starner, died at her home in New Oxford, Feb. 10th, from a complication of diseases developing from an attack of typhoid fever. She had been sick two weeks. Her age was 56 years, 6 months and 3 days. Mrs. Starner was a daughter of Mrs. Catherine Staub, Berlin Junction, and the late Leo Staub. She is survived by her husband and the following children, Morris and Leo Starner, New Oxford; Misses Magdaline, Beatrice and Mary Starner, at home, and Sister M. Isabelle, in a convent at Harrisburg. These brothers and sisters are also living, Leo S., John and James Staub, Berlin Junction, William Staub, Hanover, and Mrs. John S. Weaver, New Oxford. Her mother, Mrs. Catherine Staub is in a critical condition as the result of a fall received several days ago in which she sustained a fractured leg. Funeral Saturday morning at 10 o’clock with mass of requiem in the Immaculate Conception Catholic church, New Oxford, the Rev. Mark Stock officiating. Interment in the Catholic cemetery.
