Stonesifer occurred at his home on Main street, McSherrystown, at 7 p.m. Friday, June 7. For nine months the deceased had been confined to bed with a complication of diseases. He was aged about 78 years. Mr. Stonesifer was a carpenter and worked at the trade up until about two years ago, when, on account of advancing years, he was compelled to retire. Deceased was a son of the late James and Rebecca Stonesifer, of Carroll county, Md. He was married to Miss Louisa Groft, who survives him with an only daughter, Mrs. Francis Little of McSherrystown. One brother, James Stonesifer, of McSherrystown, and a sister, Mrs. Frederick Yost, of York county, also survive. New Oxford Item, New Oxford, PA, June 13, 1907
