The death of Mrs. William Stover, which occurred Friday morning, at her home in Littlestown is ascribed largely to shock following her having seen the Reformed church steeple struck by lightning Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Stover had been a sufferer from a form of heart trouble for some time. She leaves her husband and these children: Mrs. Harry Zercher, George Stover, Robert Stover, Stanley Stover, Mrs. Preston Harner, Mrs. William Dickson, and Miss Helen Stover, all of this place, Mrs. Stanley Stonesifer, of Harrisburg, and Mrs. Charles Weikert, of near Littlestown. She also leaves a brother, Theodore Stonesifer, of York, and two sisters, Mrs. A. Winton Crouse, of Waynesboro, and Mrs. Sarah Gilbert, of Minneapolis. York Daily News, May 3, 1915
