Mrs. James Strausbaugh

Mrs. Sarah Jane Strausbaugh, wife of James Strausbaugh, passed away at her late home, No. 124 
Church street, McSherrystown, Saturday, December 13, at 10 p.m. from apoplexy and Bright’s 
disease, aged 46 years, 2 months and 24 days.

The deceased was a daughter of David Fink and wife, late of McSherrystown, and was born in 
Conowago township, Adams county.  She was married 24 years ago to Mr. Strausbaugh, and since 
that time has lived in McSherrystown.  She leaver her husband and the following children:  
Harold, Clarence, Lloyd, Marguerite, Florence, Robert, Hazel and Geraldine, all at home.  Also 
two brothers and two sisters, John and Joseph Fink, Mrs. Joseph Lawrence and Miss Annie Fink, 
all of McSherrystown.

Funeral Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 9 a.m.  Requiem high mass in St. Mary’s church, Rev. L. Aug. 
Reudter officiating.  Interment in St. Mary’s cemetery.
