Mrs. Sarah Thoman, widow of Anthony Thoman, deceased, died on Sunday at the home of her son, 
Prof. J. W. Thoman, in Hanover, aged 80 years, 8 months and 19 days.  She was a daughter of 
Jacob and Sarah Wildasin and in 1857 married Mr. Thoman.  Her husband died about 16 years ago.  
Funeral Tuesday, Rev. Ellis Hay of Hanover, conducting services with intermnt in Mt. Olive 
cemetery, Abbottstown.  She leaves one son and two daughters, Prof. J. W. Thoman, ex-
superintendent of public schools of Adams county; Mrs. David A. O’Donnell, of York, and Mrs. 
Geo. R. Julius, of Littlestown.
