Tressler, died at his home in Seven Stars at 2:45 o'clock Tues. morning after about three weeks' illness from organic heart disease. He was aged 66 years, 6 months and 17 days. Mr. Tressler was born near Savillasville, Maryland, and spent his early life in that vicinity. For the last twenty years, however, he had been a resident of Adams county. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam Tressler. Mr. Tressler was married twice and is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Minnie B. Tressler. His first wife died in 1914. One son, Amos F. Tressler, Gettysburg R. 3; two daughters, Mrs. Ephraim Eyler, Emmitsburg, and Mrs. Marshall Bumgardner, Tippecanoe City, Ohio; three brothers, Joseph, Emmitsburg, and John and Clayton, in the West, survive. Thirteen grandchildren also survive. Funeral services from his late home Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock conducted by the Rev. George B. ELY, pastor of the Arendtsville Lutheran charge.
