Oldest Bricklayer Born 1819

A dispatch from Washington says: “William Troxell, of Gettysburg, born there in 
January, 1819, oldest bricklayer in the United States, died here Thursday.”  We 
have not been able to find anyone who remembers Mr. Troxell and it is probable 
that he left town many years ago. – Gettysburg Times.
