All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/adams/ _______________________________________________ William Henry Waltman, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Waltman, of Conowago Township, died in the Harrisburg Hospital last Friday night from cerebral hemorrhages from which he had suffered for about two weeks. His age was 74 years, 11 months and 7 days. Mr. Waltman was married twice. His first wife was Miss Elizabeth Sellers, of this place, who died April 7, 1886. The second wife, who died August 25, 1922, was Miss Anna A. Lahtel, of Carlisle. Surviving him is a son, John E. S. Waltman, of Orwigsville, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Joel Geiman, of Hanover, and a sister Mrs. Jacob Melhorn, of McSherrystown. He spent his early years teaching school in Conowago Township, later taking up farming. About 30 years ago he retired and moved to Middletown, Pa., where he has since resided. The funeral was held from his late home in Middletown on Tuesday afternoon. Burial was made on the family plot in the Middletown cemetery. Adams County Independent, Littlestown, PA, November 3, 1922
