Daniel D. Wampler

Daniel D. Wampler, a retired farmer, died on Tuesday morning, Oct. 1st, at his 
home between Hunterstown and New Chester, after an illness of several years from 
Bright’s disease.  He was aged 65 Years and 11 months.

He leaves his wife and seven children – Miss Ellen Wampler, of York Springs; 
Miss Annie Wampler, at home; Mrs. Sarah Swope, of near Hunterstown; Alfred and 
Lewis Wampler, of Philadelphia; William Wampler, of Harrisburg; George W. 
Wampler, of near Hunterstown.

Funeral Thursday morning at the Pines church, near New Chester, Rev. E. E. 
Dietterich, officiating.
