Weaver, a life-long resident of Union township, died Sunday, Jan. 8th, at Taneytown, Md., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Catharine Arnold, with whom she has lived for the past year, aged 70 years. Deceased had a slight stroke about six weeks ago, which did not, however, disable her or cause her any suffering, she having been around as usual until the day previous to her death, when she completely collapsed. Mrs. Weaver, who was a Miss Orndorff of Union township, was the mother of eighteen children, twelve of whom survive and are as follows: Mrs. Pius Neiderer and Mrs. John Little of McSherrystown, Mrs. Catharine Arnold and Mrs. Chas. Kuhns of Taneytown, Mrs. Robert Elliot of Stevenson, Md., Miss Mary Weaver of York, Chas. A. Weaver of McSherrystown, Edward J. of near Waldheim, Thomas O. of Kentland, Ind., and Harry, Vincent and William Weaver of Littlestown, all of whom attended the funeral. Three brothers also survive, John Orndorff of Two Taverns, Ambrose of York, and Pius of Ridgeton, Canada. The remains were taken to Littlestown last Wednesday morning and funeral services held from St. Aloysius church, Rev. Father Lennon of Taneytown, officiating. Interment in the Catholic cemetery.
