Weaver died at her home in Gettysburg, Saturday, Sept. 14, from a complication of diseases, aged 77 years, 7 months and 5 days. Mrs. Weaver had been in failing health for several years. Her maiden name was Amelia S. M. Rhodes and she was the daughter of James and Isabella Rhodes, of Lehigh county, where she resided at the time of her marriage to Mr. Weaver, on December 8, 1863. They lived in Carroll county, Md., until April, 1885, when they went to Gettysburg and Mr. Weaver engaged in the business with which he had been identified ever since. One son, H. T. Weaver, of Gettysburg survives. She also leaves two brothers, Edwin Rhodes, of Hanover and Willoughby Rhodes, of Snydersburg, Carroll county, Md.
