Died in The West

John P. F. Weaver, a native of Center Mills, Adams county, died March 31, in 
Portland, Oregon, aged 72 years.  Mr. Weaver was a son of the late Joseph G. and 
Maria Weaver, and was born in Adams county, but resided in the West for the last 
40 years.  He was a veteran of the Civil war and participated in a number of 
important engagements.  A wife and four children survive him.
