U. E. Weikert died at his home at Greenmount, Adams county, on Saturday evening, 
June 1, from the result of an operation for appendicitis performed at the Union 
Protestant Infirmary, Baltimore, some time ago.  Mr. Weikert who was aged 33 
years, 8 months and 1 day, was in the general merchandise business at 
Greenmount.  He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Anna Sherffy, and three 
children.  He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Weikert of 
Greenmount, and four brothers.

Deceased was a nephew of Mr. James A. Weikert of Carlisle street, this place.
