Wenschoff, at his home near Emmitsburg, Md. He was the only son of Dr. E. C. Wenschoff, formerly of Abbottstown, and was 76 years of age. He died this morning. The deceased served in Cole’s cavalry during the Civil war and spent 17 months in Andersonville prison. His discharge called him a brave soldier. The latter part of his life was spend retired on his farm. The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Milton A. Spangler, of Franklin street, and Mrs. William Panebaker, of West Chestnut street, and a son, Franklin Wenschoff, of this place. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, July 20, 1912
