Death was the result of a stroke he sustained last December. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Yohe, Hampton, and has resided in Butler township 25 years. Mr. Yohe was a veteran of the Civil war, having served in Company K, of the 165th Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was a member of the Arendtsville Lutheran church. He is survived by two children, Miss Daisy Yohe, at home and William Yohe, Shippensburg. Two brothers and a sister also survive. They are David Yohe, Biglerville; Henry Yohe and Mrs. Annie Whisler, York. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, August 12, 1916
