JOHN H. ZINN.

  At his home in Gettysburg, John H. Zinn died on Tuesday morning 
following a stroke which he suffered a week ago.  At the time of his 
death he was aged 83 years, 9 months and 9 days, being born February 
12, 1833.  He was a veteran of the Civil war, having been a 
Pennsylvania volunteer.  He is survived by the following children: 
Harry H., of this city; Mrs. D. P. Drawbaugh, formerly of this city, 
but now of Camden, Ind.; Mrs. Ed Bender of Gettysburg.  The funeral 
will occur Thursday afternoon.
