James Clement Cole, of Buchanan Valley, and Miss Mildred Content Hildebrand, of Biglerville, Adams county, were married Thursday morning in St. Ignatius Catholic church, Buchanan Valley. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Edgar Howard. The wedding was largely attended. Following the ceremony Dr. Hildebrand entertained the guests at dinner after which Mr. and Mrs. Cole left on an extended wedding trip. Mrs. Cole is a daughter of Dr. J. H. Hildebrand and is prominent especially in Adams county and is a charming member of the younger set. Mr. Cole is well known lumberman and is a member of the firm of Tate & Cole. He was first elected to the legislature in 1908 and returned to the session of 1910. Guests were present at the wedding from Grottoes, Winchester, Martinsburg, Altoona, Emmitsburg, York, Hanover, Conewago, McSherrystown, East Berlin, Gettysburg and York Springs.
