All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/adams/ _______________________________________________ Harness-Rupp In the Presbyterian parsonage, at Gettysburg, Saturday evening, Feb. 5, at 7:30 o’clock, Miss Ruth Rupp, of Gettysburg, was married to Hunter Harness, formerly of Petersburg, W. Va. The bride’s pastor, Rev. Taylor, performed the ceremony. The young couple were attended by William G. Rupp, of Hanover, a brother of the bride as best man, and Mrs. Rupp, as matron of honor. The bride was attired in pink organdic and carried pink and white carnations, while the matron of honor wore blue Georgette crepe and silver over pink satin and carried carnations. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Carrie Pittenturf. Miss Rupp is the younger sister of William G. Rupp, of this place, and the groom is connected with the American Express Company office at Gettysburg. Mr. and Mrs. Harness will reside at No. 11 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg.
