The ceremony took place in the parlor beautifully decorated with cut flowers and plants. “Bridal Chorus” from Lohengrin was played by Miss May Rupp while the bridal party advanced to a bank of evergreens before which the wedding ceremony was performed by Rev. Geo. N. Lauffer. Miss Anna Stoner, sister of the bride was maid of honor and Misses Lucy Harlacher and Alta Rebert bridesmaids. Althus Hostetter was best man. The bride and attendants were gowned in white and carried white and pink carnations. A wedding supper followed the ceremony. Gettysburg Compiler – Wednesday, February 1, 1905
