McCurdy Swope, and John DeKalb Keith, Esq., son of Mrs. Helen Keith, both of Gettysburg, were married at the bride’s home, Saturday, Oct. 26, at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Frank E. Taylor. The bride wore a gown of embroidered satin charmeuse, trimmed with rose point lace and pearls. Her tulle veil was made in cap effect with pearl trimming. Miss Amy Swope was the maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Martha Dickson and Miss Elizabeth VanCleve, Gettysburg; Miss Mary Hutt, Cobleskill, New York; and Miss Rebecca Collingwood, Braddock. All wore gowns of white lingerie and carried French baskets of Richmond red roses. The bride’s bouquet was also of Richmond Roses. Harry O. Himes, an uncle of the groom, was best man. During the evening Mr. and Mrs. Keith left by automobile for Baltimore. They will be absent for about a week on their honeymoon and will reside on Lincoln avenue, Gettysburg upon their return. Among the out-of-town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence M. Schaeffer, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver S. Trone, Hanover; Mrs. Kate Himes, Mr. and Mrs. Charles K. Yeager, Mr. and Mrs. John N.
