A double wedding which was attended by many relatives and friends of the young couples was solemnized at a nuptial mass in St. Mary’s church, McSherrystown, on Tuesday. Rev. L. Aug. Reudter, the rector, officiated, and the couples acted as attendants for each other. The contracting parties were L. Edward Bolin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bolin of McSherrystown Avenue, this place and Miss Myrtle Cecelia Krichten, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Krichten, of No. 213 Main Street, McSherrystown, and Joseph C. Klunk, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Klunk, of Main Street, McSherrystown, and Miss Mary Grace Smith, daughter of Mrs. Sadie Smith, of Main Street, that place. After the double ceremony the newly wedded couples were given a breakfast at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Krichten. There were guests present from Washington, Baltimore and Littlestown. Both couples will leave this afternoon on a wedding trip to Lancaster and Philadelphia. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Bolin, will begin house keeping in a newly furnished home on McSherrystown Avenue, and Mr. and Mrs. Klunk will make their future home with the bride’s mother in McSherrystown.
