Edward F. Poist, of McSherrystown, and Miss Ada Swartzbaugh, of Hanover, were 
married at 9 o'clock Thursday morning in St. Mary's Catholic Church by the 
rector, the Rev. L Augustus Reudter. The ceremony was private, only the 
immediate relatives and friends of the contracting parties being present. At 
10:46 a.m. the newly wedded pair left on a wedding journey to Baltimore, 
Washington, Philadelphia, and other points. The groom is the youngest son of Wm 
F. Poist, of Main Street, McSherrystown. The bride is the youngest daughter of 
Mr. and Mrs. Levi Swartzbaugh. After from the wedding tour, Mr. and Mrs. Poist 
will reside in a newly furnished home on North street, McSherrystown.
