Charles Matthias, of Littlestown, on Sunday became the bride of Walter David Shoemaker, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Shoemaker, residing near Littlestown. They motored to Ellicott City, Md., where they were married by the Rev. A. G. Null, a cousin of the bride. They were accompanied by Miss Edna Matthias, sister of the bride, and Clyde Basehoar, both of Littlestown. Mr. and Mrs. Shoemaker left on a trip to the Middle West and Niagara Falls. Upon their return they will reside for the present at the home of the bride. The bride is a graduate of the Littlestown High School and the York School of Business, and has been employed for the past two years as a clerk in the Littlestown National Bank.
