Hockensmith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hockensmith, of Brushtown, became the bride of Eugene A. Shorb, son of Mrs. Lewis Short, of Midway. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. A. Howard. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. James Lingg. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Lingg, on Nissly street, Middletown. Mr. and Mrs. Shorb left on a short wedding trip to Philadelphia and New York. On their return they will reside in Middletown, Pa. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, May 6, 1916
