Smiley-Redding – Frank Russell Smiley, son of Mrs. J. A. Smiley, and Miss Lucy 
Ann Redding, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Redding, both of town, were 
united in marriage on Thursday morning by Rev. Fr. P. F. Sullivan at St. Francis 
Xavier rectory.  The attendants were Miss Grace Allison, of Fairfield, and C. 
Wm. Troxell, of town.  The bride wore a navy blue suit with hat to match and 
carried a corsage bouquet of lilies of the valley and orchids.  The bridegroom 
as a printer was formerly connected with the Compiler, Star and Sentinel, and is 
at present with the Times Company, where for several years the bride has also 
been employed.
