Smith-Masemer – Miss Dora S. Masemer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Masemer, 
of Latimore township, and Edgar J. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Smith, of 
near York Springs, were married at the Lutheran parsonage in York Springs on 
last Friday by Rev. Paul Gladfelter.  Both are well known Adams county school 
teachers.  The bride is an instructor in the East Berlin High School and Mr. 
Smith is teacher of the Wierman’s Mill school.  The newly wedded pair left on 
Saturday morning for Clairmont, Vt., stopping en route at Lancaster, 
Philadelphia, and New York.  They will return home the latter part of the week.
