Miss Cora E. Motter, daughter of Mr. Levi J. Motter, of East King street, and 
Mr. Thomas P. Strauss, of York, were married Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock.  
The ceremony was performed in St. Paul’s Lutheran church, York, by the pastor, 
the Rev. Clinton E. Walter.  Only members of the two families were in 
attendance.  The bride was attired in a dark blue traveling suit trimmed in fur.  
After the wedding ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Strauss left on a trip to points south, 
including Wilmington, N. C.  They will be at home in Littlestown after Feb. 1.  
The bridegroom is employed by the Read Machinery Co., York, as an accountant.
