Last Wednesday morning a quiet home wedding took place at the bride’s home, on 
Baltimore street, this place, when Mrs. Dora H. Chapman became the wife of D. 
Jerome Swartz, of New Marion, Franklin county, and formerly of this place.  The 
ceremony was witnessed only by the immediate friends and relatives.  Rev. M. C. 
Horine, performed the ceremony, assisted by Rev. Dr. T. J. Barkley, of this 
place.  A wedding breakfast was served after the ceremony and the bride and 
groom left immediately for their home at New Marion.
