Mrs. C. A. Zarger, York, and C. A. Zarger, this place, have announced the 
engagement of their daughter, Elaine, to Clair E. Zartman, Jr., of Spring Grove.

Zartman-Zarger

Miss Elaine Zarger, daughter of Mrs. C. A. Zarger, York, and C. A. Zarger, 
Dillsburg, and Clair E. Zartman, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair E. Zartman, 
Spring Grove, were married at Zion Lutheran church, York, at 4 p.m., on 
Saturday, October 18.  The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. 
Raymond Sammel, pastor.  The bride was given in marriage by her father.  The 
bride is a graduate of the William Penn Senior High school, York, and is 
employed by the York Corporation.  The groom is employed in his father's 
restaurant at Spring Grove.  Mr. Zartman served three years in the Army, one and 
a half years in the Pacific theater.
