All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jack Novicki pajznovici@aol.com - February 9, 2006, 1:01 pm Source: Transcribed From A Sampubco Photocopy Of The Hand-written Will Will written & signed: 10 March 1825 =============================================================================== Last Will { In the name God Amen~~~ I Catharine of { Biesecker, of Franklin Township, Adams Catharine Biesecker { County & State of Pennsylvania, considering { the uncertainty of this Mortal Life and being of sound and disposing mind and memory, Blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make & publish this my Last Will & Testament, in the manner and form following that is to say~~~ principally ~ and first & remanded my immortal soul into the hands of God who give it and my Body to the Earth to be interred in a decent and Christian like manner at the discretion of My Executor hereinafter named and as to such worldly estate wherewith it had pleased God to bless me in this Life I give and dispose of the same in the following manner Viz [?]~~~ I order and direct that all my just Debts and Funeral expenses shall be first paid out of my estate by my Executor as soon as may be convenient after my decease~~~ And as to all the rest res[???]ue and remainder of my estate after the payment of Debts funeral expenses and costs of settlements of whatever kind or nature~~~ I give & bequeath unto my two Brothers Jacob Biesecker & Henry Biesecker , and to their heirs and assigns to be divided in equal shares between them~~~ and lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my said Brother Henry Biesecker to be Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament~~~ In witness where of I have hereunto put my hand & seal the tenth day of March in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Twenty five~~~~~ Signed sealed published & declared by Catharine { her Biesecker to be her last will & testament in the { Catharine X Bicsecker presence of us who at her request and in her { mark presence have subscribe our name thereto as witness { Christian Dittenhafer { (((SEAL))) D. Middlecoff { ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- State of Pennsylvania { Adams County /-/ { Before me Robert Cobean Register for the probate { of wills & granting Letters of Administration in and for the said County of Adams & State of Pennsylvania, personally came Christian Dittenhafer & D. Middlecoff the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing who in their solemn oaths do severally say that they were personally present and saw and heard the therein named Catharine Biesecker sign her name unto & seal & publish the foregoing instrument of writing at and for her Last Will & Testament and at the time of doing her the said Catharine Biesecker was of sound & disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation & belief & that they subscribe their names therto as witnesses in her presence and at her request & also in the presence of each other the same time~~~~~ Sworn & Subscribed before me the { 5th day of March A.D. 1846 { Christian Dittenhaffer Robert Cobean, Regi(ster) { D.
