    of Mildred Cook Eber, No 202 Cornell Ave West View Allegheny Co Pa,
  Pittsburgh P.O. May 27, 1922 5:50 Pm Pgh time

          Mildred & her father Marcus Crawford Cook brought out three volumes of
  an old Bible with the best & largest print I have ever seen which was printed
  in London in 1774 & bought by Edward Cook from Thomas Dodson Phila for £5.10 as
  written in same by himself but there was no records in either of them.  Marcus
  says there were four volumes but he don't know what became of it, the fourth
  vol, & thinks it might have had the record in it, but says his brother Frank
  Paden Cook, now a dentist at Barnesville O, got the old book case with many old
  books in it & there might possibly be some records in some of the secret pockets
  in same. Were 4 drawers & 14 pockets or pigeon holes.
    This old bookcase, cabinet & bureau was made by an expert cabinet maker at
  Col Cook's home.  They have brought out the big will bound Bible of Wm E. Cook,
  father of Marcus E. which is 35 lines long & 25 lines wide & was printed in NY
  in 1866 by the Amer-

    ican Bible Co.  The record is as follows:
                      Marriages William E. Cook married Apr 1, 1862 to Henrietta
  Cook
          (Marcus says she was the daughter of Geo B. Cook who came to Fayette Co
  from about Middlesex, Mercer Co Pa.  His wife was Amanda Rose who was a sister
  or near relative of Prest McKinley's mother, so his Uncle Cassius Cook living
  now at Fort Scott, Kansas, told him.)

    Marcus C. Cook married June 17, 1896 to Alice Rebecca Snyder
          (She was the daughter of James Snyder of Hammondsville O, a brother of
  C. Brown Snyder, who had sent James to Ohio to raise sheep & look for his
  mills. Thinks he was a first cousin of Lewis M. Snyder)
