Large stone marker bears this inscription: Erected 30 May 1905 subscribed by members of Local Unions of District No. 5 United Mine Workers of America in memory of 180 miners and mine laborers who lost their lives in the Harwick Mine Explosion 25 Jan 1904. In memory of the Harwick miners. It is in an area separate from the rest of the cemetery, only a few markers, some illegible, others not in English.
