Kelly [?] Fees paid $1.37 1/2 This Indenture, made the third day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty BETWEEN Andrew McCurdy Esq. of Allegheny County and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Township of Robinson of the one part and Hugh Glenn of the same Township, County and State of the other part Witnesseth: That the said Andrew McCurdy Esq. for and in consideration of the Sum of One Hundred Dollars lawful money of the United States, to him in hand paid by the said Hugh Glenn at or before the ensealing or delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, and confirmed , and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, and confirm, unto the said Hugh Glenn and his heirs and assigns a certain lot or piece of land situate and being in said Robinson Township on Campbell's Run adjoining lands of said Andrew McCurdy and others, bounded and described by the following lines viz. beginning at a post in a lane thence north twenty four degrees east, sixteen perches to a post thence north sixty-seven degrees west nineteen perches to a post including a spring thence south twenty-four degrees west fifteen perches to a post and south sixty-seven degrees east eighteen perches to the place of beginning. Containing one acre and one hundred and twenty nine perches the same being part of a tract [of] land granted in fee by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to John Wolf by patent dated March 19th 1791 and by deed dated July 8th 1795 by John Wolf to Hugh McCurdy recorded in Book 5 [4] Page 215 in Pittsburgh and by deed dated December 21 1804 from said Hugh McCurdy to Andrew McCurdy Esq. Relation to of which being had fully and at large appears. Now all said described lot of land of one acre and one hundred and twenty perches. TOGETHER WITH all and singular the buildings, improvements, woods, ways, water-courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments, and appurtenances whatsoever, thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining; and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof; and, also, all the estate, right, title, interest property, claim and demand whatsoever, of him the said Andrew McCurdy Esq., his heirs, administrators and assigns in law or equity, or otherwise howsoever; of, in and to the same: above described land To have and to hold the said described lot of ground, hereditaments and premises hereby granted, or mentioned, or intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said Hugh Glenn heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use, benefit and behoof of him the said Hugh Glenn his heirs and assigns forever heirs and assigns, forever. AND the said Andrew McCurdy for himself and his heirs doth covenant, promise, and agree, to and with the said Hugh Glenn his heirs and assigns, by these presents that him the said Hugh Glenn and his heirs, the said described lot of ground, hereditaments and premises hereby granted, with the appurtenances, unto the said Hugh Glenn, his heirs and assigns, against him the said Andrew McCurdy and his heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or any part thereof the said Andrew McCurdy Esq. shall and will warrant and forever defend, by these presents. In Witness Whereof, the said Andrew McCurdy [has] hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written. Sealed and delivered in presence of Henry Glass A. McCurdy John McMichael Received, on the date of the above indenture, of and from the above named Hugh Glenn the sum of one hundred dollars lawful money of the United States, being the consideration money above mentioned, in full. TEST, A. McCurdy Henry Glass Allegheny County SS. BEFORE, John McMichael, justices of the peace in said county personally came the above named Andrew McCurdy and acknowledged the above indenture to be his act and deed, and desired the same might be recorded as such. his wife being deceased.
