Between David Gilliland and Jacob Zimmerman Executors of the last will and testament of Thomas Gibson, late of Pitt Township in the County of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania deceased of the one part, and George McCully of the same place, Esquire, of the other part. Witnesseth that the said David Gilliland and Jacob Zimmerman for and consideration of the sum of two hundred and one pounds lawful money of Pennsylvania - to them in hand well and truly paid by the said George McCully at and before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have and each of them hath granted, bargained, sold, release and confirmed, and by these presents do and each of them doth grant, bargain, sell, release and confirm unto the said George McCully his heirs and assigns a certain tract of land situate in Pitt Township in the County and State aforesaid, Bounded and described by the lines viz.: Beginning at a post on the bank of the Monongahela River thence up the same North seventy-three degrees East one hundred and twenty four perches and North eighty degrees East seventy-two perches: and East sixty-seven perches to a Sugar tree; thence by land of John McDowell Esquire North thirty-five degrees East sixteen perches and a half to a post; and North seventy-four degrees East forty-two perches to a Black Oak; and East thirty-three perches and a half perch to a black Oak, thence South seventy-six degrees East one hundred and thirty-five perches to a Lynn; thence by land of Abdill McClure land North twenty-five and a half degrees West one hundred and forty-six perches to a post thence by land of John Ferry South sixty degrees West one hundred and twenty-five perches to a dogwood, & South thirty degrees West thirty-three perches and a half to a Walnut; and South eighty four degrees West fifty-six perches to a post; North forty-four perches to a White Oak; and North sixty degrees West sixty-seven to a post; and North twenty perches to a White Oak; and North eighty degrees West thirty perches to a Hickory; North eight West sixty-nine perches to a Hickory; South fifty-three West seventeen perches to a Walnut; south seventy-three West thirty-five perches to a White Oak; thence by land of James Fleming South thirty degrees West sixty-four perches to a Stump; and South sixty degrees West seventy-nine perches to a Hickory; South thirty degrees West twenty-eight to an Ash; South fifty degrees West seventy-two perches to a White Oak; thence by the contractors land; South twenty degrees East twenty-seven perches to a White Oak; and Sout sixty-five degrees East eighty-four perches to the place of beginning, Containing three hundred and fourteen acres and the allowance of six pcent for roads &c. It being the same tract of land granted to said Thomas Gibson, deceased, by an application dated the thirteenth day of June one thousand seven hundred and sixty nine No 3392 and surveyed by virtue of a warrant dated the 21st day of March one thousand seven hundred and eighty six. And the said Thomas Gibson being seized and possessed of the aforesaid tract of land, died, he having first made his last will and testament in writing dated the fifteenth day of November one thousand seven hundred and ninety-one wherein he ordered the said David Gilliland and Jacob Zimmerman his executors to dispose of the said tract of land and make a conveyance for the same to the purchaser, relation thereunto being had may more fully & at large appear. together with all and singular the buildings thereon erected and being ways, woods, waters, water courses, right, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the said tract of land with the appurtenances unto the said George McCully his heirs and assigns. To the only proper use and behoof of the said George McCully his heirs and assigns forever. Under and subject to the purchase money and interest due and to become due and payable for the same to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In witness whereof the said David Gilliland and Jacob Zimmerman have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year aforesaid. The second day of May A.Domini 1793 before me John Wilkins Esq. one of the Commonwealths Justices assigned to keep the peace in and for the said County came Samuel Jones and on his solemn affirmation, says that he did see David Gilliland & Jacob Zimmerman the above grantors sign, seal and deliver the within Indenture as their act and deed and desired the same might be recorded as such and that he did also see John Feree subscribe his name thereto as a Witness to the execution therof and that the Sam'l Jones thereto subscribed as a witness to the execution thereof is of his own handwriting.
