Bible, Pittsburgh: United Presbyterian 
In a copy of A reference Bible, Teacher's Edition a note was written in the
inside cover in pencil. It reads, "Lizzie A. Fry's book, presented March 18,
1879.  

There is no other information written in the book. The book is about 3 1/2 in.w
by 5 inches length.  It has a brown leather covering with the gold edges on the
pages and gold inscription on the bind of the book, "REFERENCE BIBLE, Teacher's
Edition"  

The handwriting is written in a handwriting that does not look modern. 

Additional Comments:
I bought he book in a second hand bookstore on Shaker Square, Shaker Ohio in
1995-1996.  I never paid attention to the writing before until now.  Would love
to return the book to a relative of Lizzie A. Fry and learn about how she was
persecuted.
