B. 8th Reserves, enrolled April 22, 1861 at Pittsburgh, Pa. and was mustered in June 20, 1861 at Camp Wright (S.S.) and July 29, 1861 (F.S>) as Private at Washington, D.C. He was aged 19 at enrollment, with a light complexion, stood 6' 2" tall, had blue eyes, light hair ans was a workman by occupation, residing in Pittsburgh, Pa.
