Miss Esther BERTRAND, aged 17 years, died at the West Penn hospital on 
Thursday after an illness of two weeks. Spinal meningitis was the cause of 
her death as the result of a fall. She was very popular and her death was a 
shock to her many friends.
 
She is survived by her parents, three sisters, and two brothers. 
The floral offerings were many and beautiful. The funeral was held Sunday 
afternoon and interment was made in Noblestown cemetery.
