Lucile BLAIR, four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar BLAIR 
of Center avenue, fell in a cistern at her home and was drowned. The 
accident happened at 7:15 o'clock Monday evening. The little one had gone 
to a neighbor's in a part of the same house. The cistern top had been taken 
off and when the child was returning, it being dark she was unable to see 
the opening and fell into the cistern. She was found about fifteen minutes 
later.
 
Funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon at 
2:00 o'clock in charge of W. D. IRONS, D. D. Interment was in Robinson's 
Run cemetery.
