from The Pittsburgh Gazette dated Saturday, September 13, 1902:
 
Mrs Jennie E BRADSHAW, 37 years old, wife of George BRADSHAW, 
died at her home on Sixth street, Esplen, yesterday. Mrs BRADSHAW 
had been troubled with paralytic strokes, and early yesterday 
morning she had another attack. When BRADSHAW returned with 
Dr J A WILLIAMS the woman was dead. The 12-year-old son, believing 
that his mother was not dead, insisted upon fanning her, and had 
to be taken from the room.
