Her death was caused by taking a dose of corrosive sublimate. She had been much bereaved by the death of her mother several months since, and she became deranged and ended her life while in this condition. Coroner McDowell held an inquest today and found a verdict in accordance with the facts. from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records: Ruth Ann BRADY, aged 44 years, married, died November 9 1888, suicide by taking corrosive sublimate; born in Uniontown PA; lived at 641 Wylie; burial in Union Dale Cemetery on November 13 1888.
