Mrs. BROWN was on of McDonald's best known colored people, having lived here for many years. For the past three years she had been in failing health. Mrs. BROWN was twice married. She is survived by four children by her first marriage, Floyd THORNTON, Lacy THORNTON, Boyce THORNTON and Howard THORNTON; also one sister, Mrs. Ida BENNETT survives. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the First Baptist church. Interment was in the Robinson Run cemetery.
