John J. BROWN aged 58 years died Saturday afternoon at 12:30 
o'clock at his home in Carnegie. Mr. BROWN had not been well for a few days 
but was going out on his run, while at the dinner table he passed away.
Mr. BROWN was born in Clairton (sic) county about 42 years ago 
and for a number of years was a telegraph operator for the Panhandle R. R. 
After giving up this occupation he became an engineer being on Canonsburg 
and Washington run of late. Besides the wife, one son, William and two 
daughters, Mrs. Fred HEATHCOTE of Oakdale and Miss Margaret at home survive. 
Funeral services ... Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment was in the 
Robinson Run cemetery.
