from The Pittsburgh Press dated Saturday, October 26 1889  (page 3):

Elizabeth CALDWELL, wife of A S W EVANS, died on Thursday at her home
on Jane street, South Side.  She was not yet 20 years of age and had
only been married a short time.  The funeral will take place
to-morrow.

from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records:

Lizzie CALDWELL EVANS, aged 19 years 11 months 24 days, married, died
October 24 1889, pneumonia; born in Pittsburgh; father from Scotland,
mother from England; lived at 2716 Larkins Alley, 24th Ward; burial in
Hilldale Cemetery on October 27 1889.


NOTES:
Elizabeth may be the daughter of John and Betsy CALDWELL.  Husband's
name is noted as A G W EVANS in other sources.

Hilldale Cemetery is now known as Union Dale Cemetery.
