CAMPBELL died at Crafton, June 7th, 1919 after a lingering illness. She was aged 87 years. Miss CAMPBELL was born in Cross Creek township, Washington county in 1831 on the old CAMPBELL homestead, the farm now being owned by W. C. CAMPBELL and R. R. COWDEN. She was the daughter of George and Elizabeth REA CAMPBELL. After the death of her parents she made her home with her brother George W. CAMPBELL who moved from the home farm to Midway in 1867, where she continued to live until the death of her brother which occurred in 1885. Since that time she has made her home with her niece, Mrs. Elida BALDWIN, who lives at Crafton. She united with the Presbyterian church in early life and has always retained her membership in that denomination, being a regular attendant so long as her health permitted. Miss CAMPBELL leaves a number of nephews and nieces, G. S. CAMPBELL of McDonald being a nephew. She was the last of her family to go, having had nine brothers and sisters. The funeral was on Monday evening at Crafton. Interment was in Crafton cemetery on Tuesday morning.
