All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/allegheny/ ________________________________________________ McKeesport Daily News, May 23, 1916, page 4 MARTHA JANE CARNAHAN Mrs. Martha Jane Carnahan, aged 41 years, three months and eight days, wife of Hugh Carnahan, of Bellevernon, Pa., and widely known in this section, died last night at 11:35 o'clock at the McKeesport Hospital from a complication of ailments. She had been ailing for several years, but was not taken to the hospital until two weeks ago. She was a daughter of Mrs. W. H. King, of Lincoln Township, and is survived by her husband and seven children: Mrs. A. J. Cupples, of Bellevernon; Mrs. A. J. Haidle, of Boston, Pa.; Clyde, Bessie, Ruth, Margaret and Frank Carnahan, all at home; by her mother, one brother, Herbert King, of Wehrum, Pa., and four sisters, Mrs. Thomas Hall, of Glassport; Mrs. Lida Ferguson, Mrs. Edna King and Mrs. David Jones, all of McKeesport. The body is now at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Haidle of Boston, and the funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 o'clock from the Boston M. E. Church. Interment will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
