from The Pittsburgh Gazette Times dated Thursday, March 24, 1910:
 
CLENDINNING - On Wednesday, March 23, 1910, at 2:50 am, Ross CLENDINNING, 
in his 84th year. Funeral from his late residence at Bakerstown, Pa., on 
Saturday, March 26, at 1 pm. Services at Deer Creek church at 2 o'clock. 
Carriages will leave the offices of Holzheimer & Bock co., corner of 
Ninth and Main street, Sharpsburg, at 9 am.
