He was born in England and came to the United States at an early age. He had been long employed as a conductor by the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of St James Episcopal Church, Homewood Commandery No. 378, Knights of Malta, Charles D Freeman Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Knights of the Mystic Chain and the Pennsylvania Railroad Veterans' Association. He leaves three daughters, Mrs Mary Kelley of Wilkinsburg, Mrs Harriet Brewer of Washington, and Mrs T W Dixon of Hammond, Ind.; a son, Charles W Colebourn of Ambridge, Pa.; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Additional Comments: Charles Colebourn was born in Brailsford, Derbyshire to George Col(e)bourn and Eliza Warner. He married twice, first to Mary Ann Haynes, the mother of the above named children who died in 1889, and then to Harriet Elmer who died in 1920. A second son, George, died in 1905. Charles, wife Harriet, daughter Mary, and son Charles W are buried in a family plot at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wilkinsburg.
