(under an article titled, Echoes of the Night) from The Pittsburgh Press dated Wednesday, July 8, 1896 (page 6): Unknown man, supposed to be Hezekiah CONOVER, killed while trespassing on Pennsylvania railroad, on July 5, at East Liberty station, accidental death. (under an article titled, Coroner's Inquests) from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records: Hezekiah CONOVER, about 40 years of age, died on July 5, 1896, crushed by a PRR engine in East Liberty; burial in Highwood Cemetery on July 9, 1896.
